A woman from the American state of Tennessee gave birth to a girl from an embryo that was 24 years in a freeze, reports CBS News.
In March of this year, 26-year-old Tina Gibson became pregnant after she was placed in the uterus embryo, which was a long time in the freezer. The woman gave birth to a healthy baby on November 25, the girl was named Emma.
According to researchers at the University of Tennessee, this case is unique, as Emma became the first child whose embryo was frozen for 24 years. Thus, a newborn daughter is younger than her mother for a year with a small, notes "Gazeta.ru".
